This past week has been great. I've gotten to spend a lot of time with my best friends. Almost everybody is leaving tomorrow or has already left to go back to school though.
Once this week starts up again, I've gotta crack down on my schoolwork. The pressure is (somewhat) on. It's been more difficult as far as classes go this semester.
There is light at the end of the tunnel though. First off, there aren't a lot of tests and stuff left, and there's really only a couple months of school left.. Secondly, there is a good chance I will be living on campus next year. I got my financial aid stuff, and it looks like Uncle Sam decided to give me some money for school. So, as long as I get accepted in the housing "lottery" or however that thing works, I'll be set. That is something I'm really stoked about.
So, there's just this final stretch that I have to work hard to get through. It's hard balancing work, school, and life; but this recent news makes it a lot easier to stay motivated. |

That's right. I'm listening to Incubus. This band rocks. Do they still make music and/or tour? If so, that'd be cool. Once, I went to an Incubus concert with Sherman, Nick, and Brandon our sophomore year on Halloween. It was "off the chain."
So that's really about it. I could go google them and see what they're up to, but I think I prefer to keep the sophomore year of high school image I had of them. |

Spring break has truly begun. I had to work pretty late last night, which was somewhat of a bummer at the time, but I'm glad I put in the time.
Last night was sweet. Some fun was had in Laguna Beach.
Today was spent watching TV and falling asleep here and there. Tonight, Dan, Sherman, Alex (from Oregon), and I went and saw dave chappelle's block party. It was an awesome movie full of great performances by Talib, Mos Def, Common, and many others. |

Yesterday after school, I spent a couple hours at the DMV renewing my license. It was indeed... super boring. Necessary, but boring. I've been driving with an expired license for almost a week, so I needed to get it done. Later on was cool though. Me and Arthur met @ Tony's apartment, but I guess Tony had class, but it was cool anyways because we hung out there with Dave and Guillermo. We watched Boondock Saints, and just hung out.
This morning was crap. I had an appointment with the allergist at 10:30. They poked a bunch of stuff in my skin. Nothing showed up as far as me being allergic to anything, so then they shot the stuff in my arms to see if I reacted, but I didn't. There were 18 different things that they tested for. So after finding out I have no allergies, they sent me to another office in the building to get a sinus x-ray. (if you're still reading this.... mad props_). I had to wait about 2 hours to get an x-ray that took literally 5 minutes. And so I took the X-Ray back to the allergist, and guess what... No abnormalities. So my question now is.... if my sinuses are fine, and I have no allergies.... then why can't I breath through my nose... So then after being there for about 4 hours, I got to leave. But wait... you have to pay to park there... But I spent the last of the 3 bucks cash I had the previous day on... food at school. I couldn't bear being at that office anymore, and wasn't up for finding an ATM, so I just decided to go the the gate that lets you out and see what they do when you don't have any money. The lady at the gate I pulled up to took pity on me and let me pass.
And now I have about 10 hours of art homework tonight. (No exaggeration). And, I have to get ready for an in class essay I'm doing tomorrow. So, I guess I should get to work. |
